The University of Otago invites you to consider New Zealand’s first university-based EMDR Therapy Basic Training.

Applications are now open - we encourage those interested to apply early as numbers are limited.

Key points of Otago’s EMDR training programme:

• Available to practicing mental health professionals.
• Tailored to Aotearoa New Zealand’s culture and population.
• Online lectures start in late February 2025.
• Taught by leading EMDR Therapy educator MaryAnn Stevens.
• EMDR supervision and consultation is included.
• Includes two 2½ day block courses in Wellington. Block one 24th-26th March & Block Two 28^th-30^th July.

Advanced training will be on offer in 2026.
